This year, we’re marking the 60th anniversary of Ireland's leading HVACR supplier Fridge Spares Wholesale with a celebration of all things FSW!
The company began way back in 1965 with Dublin’s flagship branch, where brothers Dessie and Brendan Byrne provided the city and its surrounding area with refrigeration wholesale services. The 1990s saw a period of rapid growth and several acquisitions of companies across the UK and Ireland under the leadership of Dermot Byrne, current FSW Group Chairman and son of Dessie. In that time, what was once a small Irish refrigeration specialist was transformed into one of the largest refrigeration and air conditioning wholesalers in the British Isles.
FSW now boasts 29 locations across Ireland and the UK, where customers can access the best and latest in HVACR tools and technologies for commercial use of any scale. Our team has expanded to include specialists who can provide technical and personal support, both nationwide and at our fully-equipped training facility based in Southampton.
After 60 years of expansion, FSW remains as committed to providing our customers with personalised service as it did when it was that single Dublin branch - but now with our national reach and unparalleled industry experience, we can truly embody our motto, “Where you need us, when you need us.”
