This newly built housing development in Meath by Curo Developments was designed around energy efficiency, sustainability, and future-readiness. Each home is equipped with an integrated 7.4kW EVHACS charger in either a 5kW or 8.5kW heat pump, depending on build type, paired with a Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan R32 FTC6 Monobloc Packaged Cylinder.
The result is a fully electrified home energy system that provides space heating, domestic hot water, and EV charging from one connected installation, all designed and manufactured in Ireland.
By combining Ecodan heat pump technology with EVHACS integrated charging, the development demonstrates how sustainable housing can be delivered without compromise in comfort, performance, or design. Traditional EV installations often require a separate power feed and can disrupt the visual flow of new-build façades.
To meet both aesthetic and functional targets, the system needed to:

Integrated EV Charging & Heat Pump Installation
EVHACS supplied and installed a 7.4kW integrated EV charger integrated into 8.5kW and 5kW Heat Pumps, depending on the build type, paired with the Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan R32 FTC6 Monobloc Packaged Cylinder.
The Ecodan R32 FTC6 system combines advanced air-to-water heating with a packaged hot water cylinder, providing a complete low-carbon solution for space and water heating. Integrating the EVHACS charger allows the same infrastructure to deliver efficient vehicle charging, all managed from a shared power source.
Each home also features an EVHACS Remote Socket, installed in either black or white to match the façade. This modular design allows the charger to be located up to 30 metres from the heat pump unit, ensuring both flexibility and a clean visual appearance.
