Thermostatic expansion valves TE5-55 regulate the injection of refrigerant liquid into evaporators for medium sized plants (rated capacities from 19 to 356 kW for R22). Injection is controlled by the refrig-erant superheat. Therefore the valves are especially suitable for liquid injection in ”dry“ evaporators where the superheat at the evaporator outlet is proportional to the evaporator load.
