R-449A is a non-azeotropic blend containing refrigerants from the hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO) family.
It has been designed to replace R-404A in medium and low temperature commercial and industrial refrigeration applications.
It is suitable for supermarkets and hypermarkets including centralised pack systems, chill and frozen cold stores, and refrigerated transport.
It can be used as a replacement for R-22, but must be in accordance with conversion guidelines.
